Volunteers are welcome at the Emmanuel Centre. We also welcome work experience placements. Ideal work experience candidates include those currently studying social work or community services.
Some of the things you may wish to volunteer with are:
Assisting in arts and crafts activity programs
Gardening and maintenance
Sign language classes
We encourage people with a disability to share their skills and talents while they receive help at the same time preserves the dignity of the giver and the receiver.
