Kitty is an advocate for people affected by eating disorders and has become a nationally and internationally recognized authority on the impact mental illness has on individuals, their families and the community.

Words such as “nutcase” and “wacko” keep people in silence which only bolsters negative and severe mental health symptoms. Let’s change our vocabulary and make an effort to help each other open up about mental illness and not remain in silence.
